About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in all assigned areas.
• Sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas, ensuring compliance with hygiene standards.
• Empty and clean bins, managing waste disposal and recycling processes effectively.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, ensuring it is stored correctly and kept in good working order.
• Identify and report any building maintenance needs, such as minor repairs or safety concerns, to the facilities manager.
• Maintain adequate stock levels of cleaning supplies, alerting supervisors to restocking requirements.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role is preferred.
• Understanding of cleaning procedures, health and safety regulations, and the use of cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to work diligently and efficiently, managing time effectively to complete tasks.
• Good physical stamina to perform cleaning duties, including standing, bending, and lifting.
