About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and passionate Farm Manager to oversee operations at their organic produce farm located near Sunderland, Tyne and Wear . This critical role involves the day-to-day management of all farming activities, ensuring the highest standards of crop cultivation, pest control, and harvesting in accordance with organic principles. You will lead a dedicated team, manage resources effectively, and contribute to the strategic growth of the farm, producing high-quality, sustainable food. Key Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all planting, cultivation, irrigation, and harvesting activities for a variety of organic crops.
• Manage the farm's team, providing training, guidance, and performance management.
• Oversee the maintenance and efficient use of farm machinery, equipment, and facilities.
• Implement and monitor organic certification standards and best practices.
• Manage farm budget, resources, and inventory, ensuring profitability and sustainability.
