About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Farm Manager to oversee operations at their state-of-the-art agricultural facility in Leicester . This pivotal role involves managing all aspects of daily farming activities, ensuring optimal crop yields and livestock health. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans for crop rotation, planting, and harvesting to maximize yield and quality.
• Oversee daily operations, including livestock care, feeding programs, and herd health management.
• Manage and maintain farm equipment, machinery, and infrastructure, ensuring operational readiness and safety.
• Supervise and train farm staff, fostering a productive and safe working environment.
• Monitor financial performance, manage budgets, and implement cost-saving measures.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant agricultural regulations, environmental standards, and health and safety policies.

Requirements

• Proven experience in farm management or a similar agricultural leadership role.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with UK agricultural regulations and best practices.
