About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Farm Manager to oversee operations at their agricultural site near Birmingham . This role demands a blend of hands-on agricultural knowledge and strong leadership skills to ensure the efficient and profitable running of the farm. You will be responsible for day-to-day operations, staff management, and strategic planning to enhance productivity and sustainability. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise all farm activities, including planting, cultivation, harvesting, and livestock management.
• Manage and motivate a team of farm workers, ensuring efficient task allocation and performance.
• Oversee the maintenance and operation of farm machinery and equipment.
• Manage farm finances, including budgeting, cost control, and profitability analysis.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve crop yields and livestock health.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Farm Manager or in a similar senior agricultural leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of crop production cycles, animal husbandry, and farm operations .
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience with farm budgeting and financial management.
• Familiarity with agricultural machinery and technology.
• A degree in Agriculture, Farm Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
