About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Farm Manager to oversee operations at a prominent agricultural estate located near London, England . Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive farm management plans, including crop rotation, soil management, and pest control strategies.
• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of farm staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
• Manage farm finances, including budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation to ensure profitability.
• Oversee the maintenance and repair of farm machinery, equipment, and infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of planting, harvesting, livestock, and financial transactions.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Farm Manager or in a similar senior agricultural role.
• A degree or HND in Agriculture, Agronomy, or a related field is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of crop production, soil science, and animal husbandry.
• Proficiency in farm management software and standard office applications.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
