Farm Operations Supervisor

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Farm Operations Supervisor to manage daily activities on their agricultural holdings near Liverpool . This hands-on role requires strong leadership skills to guide a team of farm workers in all aspects of crop cultivation and livestock management. You will be responsible for ensuring efficient operations, maintaining high standards of animal welfare and crop quality, and contributing to the overall productivity of the farm. The ideal candidate will have practical farming experience and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily tasks of farm workers, including planting, harvesting, and livestock care.
• Ensure all farm machinery and equipment are maintained in good working order.
• Implement and monitor farm management plans to optimize crop yields and livestock health.
• Maintain accurate records of farm activities, including feeding, breeding, and yield data.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on the farm.

Requirements

• Proven experience in practical farming operations, with a good understanding of crop and/or livestock management.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role within agriculture is essential.
• Knowledge of agricultural machinery operation and basic maintenance.
• Ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
• Good communication skills and a strong work ethic.
