About the Role

Our client is looking for a diligent and practical Farm Operations Supervisor to join their established team in Stoke-on-Trent . This role is essential for overseeing the day-to-day execution of farm activities, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to quality standards. You will be responsible for guiding a team of farm workers, coordinating tasks related to planting, cultivation, harvesting, and livestock care, and ensuring efficient use of resources and machinery. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct farm staff in performing daily agricultural tasks efficiently and safely.
• Coordinate the use of farm machinery and equipment, ensuring proper operation and maintenance.
• Oversee planting, cultivation, and harvesting operations according to the farm's schedule and best practices.
• Monitor crop health and livestock conditions, reporting any issues to the Farm Manager.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on the farm.
• Assist in managing farm inventory, supplies, and resource allocation.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in farm operations, with supervisory experience highly preferred.
• Practical knowledge of agricultural techniques, crop management, and/or livestock care.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
• Good understanding of farm machinery operation and basic maintenance.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
