Our client requires a diligent Fiber Optic Technician to join their operational team in Bradford . This role is hands-on and field-based, focusing on the installation, splicing, testing, and maintenance of fiber optic networks. Key Responsibilities

• Install and terminate fiber optic cables according to industry standards and project specifications.
• Perform fiber optic splicing and connectorization using fusion splicers and other specialized equipment.
• Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting of fiber optic networks using OTDR, power meters, and visual fault locators.
• Identify, diagnose, and repair faults within the fiber optic infrastructure.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, tests, and repairs performed.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with company and regulatory guidelines.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Fiber Optic Technician or in a related field role is essential.
• Proficiency in fiber optic cable installation, splicing, and testing techniques.
• Experience with fiber optic testing equipment (e.g., OTDR, VFL, power meters).
• Ability to read and interpret network diagrams and technical specifications.
• Must possess a valid UK driving license and be physically capable of performing field duties.
• Strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering high-quality results in Bradford and surrounding areas.
