About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Fibre Optic Network Planner to join their team in Portsmouth . This role is integral to the expansion and optimisation of their fibre optic network infrastructure. You will be responsible for surveying sites, designing network routes, and ensuring that all planning adheres to industry standards and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong spatial reasoning skills and a thorough understanding of fibre optic deployment principles, contributing to the successful rollout of high-speed broadband services.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys to assess feasibility and identify optimal routes for fibre optic network deployment.
• Design detailed network plans, including cable routes, connection points, and equipment placement.
• Prepare network drawings and documentation using specialized CAD or GIS software.
• Liaise with local authorities, landowners, and utility companies to obtain necessary permissions and access.

Requirements
