About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated and hands-on Field Installation Technician to join their Installation & Maintenance team, focusing on the Nottingham area. This role is critical for the successful setup and initial operation of equipment and systems at customer premises. You will be responsible for executing installations according to technical specifications, performing initial tests, and ensuring client satisfaction from the outset. The ideal candidate will be practical, reliable, and possess a good understanding of technical systems. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual based in or around Nottingham to establish a career in a vital technical support function within the Installation & Maintenance sector.

Key Responsibilities

Install new equipment and systems at customer sites in a safe and efficient manner.
Conduct initial system checks and basic configuration to ensure operational readiness.
Troubleshoot and resolve any minor issues that arise during the installation process.
Maintain clear and accurate records of installation activities and completion.
Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and company operating procedures.
Liaise with customers to ensure a smooth and satisfactory installation experience.

Requirements

Previous experience in a hands-on technical role, such as an installer or technician, preferably in Installation & Maintenance .
Ability to follow instructions and work from technical guides or blueprints.
Basic knowledge of mechanical or electrical systems.
Good practical skills and attention to detail.
A valid driving license is required for travel within the Nottingham region.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
