About the Role

Our client is recruiting a dedicated Field Maintenance Specialist to join their installation and maintenance team in Oxford . This essential role involves travelling to client sites to perform crucial maintenance, diagnostics, and repair tasks on installed equipment, ensuring maximum uptime and operational efficiency. You will be responsible for proactive upkeep, responding to service calls, and providing technical expertise to resolve issues effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance and inspections on various types of equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults efficiently.
• Respond promptly to emergency service requests and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Maintain accurate and detailed service logs, including parts usage and repair outcomes.
• Provide technical advice and support to clients on equipment maintenance and operation.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations during site visits.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a field maintenance or technical support role, with a focus on installation and maintenance .
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical components, and diagnostic tools.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Full UK driving license and willingness to travel locally within the Oxford area.
