About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced and proactive Field Maintenance Specialist to join their fully remote installation and maintenance team, supporting a diverse client base across the UK, including those near Wolverhampton . This role involves providing remote technical expertise to diagnose, troubleshoot, and advise on the maintenance of complex equipment. You will be instrumental in ensuring the continued operational efficiency of client systems through expert remote guidance and support. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver expert remote technical support and diagnostics for installed equipment.
• Assist clients in performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting operational issues.
• Document all technical support interactions, findings, and resolutions accurately in the company's database.
• Collaborate with field service teams to provide remote insights and support for complex on-site issues.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation and support materials.
• Identify recurring issues and provide feedback to engineering teams for product improvement.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a maintenance or field service role, with a strong emphasis on technical support.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills applicable to mechanical and/or electrical systems.
• Strong understanding of maintenance procedures and best practices.
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills, capable of remote interaction.
• Must be proficient with remote diagnostic tools and comfortable working independently in a remote capacity.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.
