Key Responsibilities
- Install, commission, and service a range of HVAC equipment according to manufacturer specifications and client requirements.
- Conduct routine maintenance, diagnostic checks, and preventative repairs on installed systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and support to clients, ensuring clear communication and high levels of satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and parts used, updating company systems promptly.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HVAC technician or Field Service Engineer, with a strong understanding of refrigeration cycles, electrical systems, and control logic.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in HVAC engineering or a related technical field.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing common HVAC faults in commercial and residential settings.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- A full, clean UK driving license is essential for travel between sites in the Aberdeen area and surrounding regions.
