About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Engineer to join their Installation & Maintenance team in London . This critical role involves traveling to customer sites to install, maintain, and repair advanced HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and client satisfaction. You will be the face of our client's technical expertise, providing essential on-site support and troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical issues. Key Responsibilities
- Install, commission, and service a variety of HVAC systems and associated equipment at customer premises across the London area.
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and preventative repairs to ensure system longevity and efficiency.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical faults, providing timely and effective repair solutions.
- Collaborate with the central support team to manage service requests and inventory for necessary parts.
- Maintain detailed service reports and documentation for all completed work, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations and company policies during all site visits.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or in a similar hands-on installation and maintenance role, preferably with HVAC or mechanical systems.
- Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical principles relevant to HVAC technology .
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and manuals.
- A valid UK driving license and a willingness to travel frequently within the specified service region.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients.
