Key Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and test new HVAC equipment according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and servicing on a variety of HVAC systems, identifying and addressing potential issues before they arise.
• Diagnose and repair faults in refrigeration, electrical, and mechanical components of HVAC units.
• Respond to emergency service calls, providing timely and effective solutions to minimize downtime for clients.
• Maintain accurate service reports, inventory logs, and client records using company-provided systems.
• Collaborate with the scheduling team to optimize service routes and ensure efficient client coverage.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an HVAC technician or Field Service Engineer .
• Strong understanding of HVAC principles, refrigeration cycles, and electrical systems.
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in HVAC engineering or a related technical field.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the capacity to work independently and manage time effectively.
• A full, clean UK driving license is essential for travel to client sites across Aberdeen and surrounding areas.
