About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and perform routine maintenance on industrial machinery according to manufacturer specifications.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, implementing effective repair solutions.
• Conduct preventative maintenance checks and identify potential problems before they cause significant disruption.
• Provide on-site technical support and training to client personnel on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Maintain accurate service records, including parts used, labour hours, and detailed descriptions of work performed.
• Collaborate with the engineering and sales teams to provide feedback on product performance and client needs.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar hands-on technical role, preferably within the installation & maintenance sector.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems .
• Ability to read and interpret complex technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment for testing and repair.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges.
• Must hold a valid UK driving license and be willing to travel extensively within the Aberdeen region and surrounding areas.
