Key Responsibilities
- Perform precise installation and commissioning of new equipment according to technical specifications and safety standards.
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance checks and servicing to minimize downtime and maximize equipment lifespan.
- Diagnose and repair complex technical faults, providing timely and effective solutions in client-premises.
- Manage service schedules and inventory of spare parts effectively, ensuring readiness for service calls.
- Document all service activities, including installation reports, maintenance logs, and repair outcomes accurately.
- Liaise with clients to understand their needs, provide technical support, and ensure satisfaction with services rendered.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar technical role within installation and maintenance .
- Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and electronic systems, with diagnostic troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a hands-on approach to technical challenges.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the London region and occasional site visits.
- Relevant technical qualifications or certifications in engineering or a related field are highly desirable.
