Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and commission new equipment at client sites, ensuring adherence to technical specifications.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and necessary repairs on a diverse range of machinery and systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues, providing effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with the central support team to share knowledge and resolve challenging problems.
- Maintain detailed service reports, documenting all work performed, parts used, and time spent.
- Ensure all work is completed to the highest safety and quality standards, adhering to company and industry regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or in a similar technical support role.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, with the ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment for effective troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients.
- Must possess a valid UK driving license and be willing to travel extensively.
