About the Role

You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of specialized equipment, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and configure new equipment according to technical specifications and client requirements.
• Perform routine maintenance, diagnostic checks, and preventative repairs on a range of machinery and systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users, ensuring they can operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate service records, reports, and inventory of spare parts and tools, documenting all work performed.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations and company policies during all site visits and operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or in a similar technical support role.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and potentially electronic systems relevant to the industry.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities with a methodical approach.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with clients and colleagues.
• A valid UK driving license and willingness to travel extensively within the designated service area.
