Finance & Administration Officer

Dahabshiil Transfer Services Ltd, an FCA-authorized international money transfer business with a growing online service, is looking for a Finance & Administration Officer to join our lean Finance team. Around 80% of the role is finance: daily safeguarding balance reconciliation and reports, merchant acquirer reconciliations for agent and online card payments, bank and partner reconciliations, Sage bookkeeping, supplier payments and audit support. The remaining 20% is office administration: supplies, facilities, first-line IT support, and health and safety. You will have a degree in accounting, AAT Level 3 or equivalent experience, 2–3 years in a bookkeeping or accounts role, strong Excel skills (large datasets, lookups, pivot tables), Sage experience and excellent attention to detail. You will be a dynamic, proactive and quick learner who can work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team. Experience of card payment reconciliations or a regulated business is a plus. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK; the role is subject to DBS, credit checks and satisfactory references.
