Finance & Office Assistant

Angmering

Salary:£29,000 - £33,000 + quarterly bonus

A long-standing SME business with a strong track record of success is currently seeking an experienced Finance & Office Assistant to join them in a varied, growth driven role.

Having built solid foundations over recent years, the business is now in an exciting phase of continued growth, making this a great time to join. Combining core bookkeeping with general office and business support, this is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and being at the heart of a busy office. You'll be part of a friendly, supportive team within a company known for its warm, collaborative culture, where people are valued and development is encouraged.

The role

This is a varied, hands-on role that sits across both the finance function and the wider business support functions. For your finance responsibilities you'll report to the Finance Director, taking ownership of the day-to-day processing and administration of the company's financial transactions: making sure customer payments are allocated accurately, suppliers are paid on time, finance queries are handled promptly and outstanding debts are actively managed.

For your office assistant duties you'll report to the Managing Director, providing practical administrative support that keeps the office running smoothly and helps the wider business operate efficiently. Working across both areas, you'll be a key point of contact for colleagues and gain broad exposure to how the business runs.
