Finance Business Partner

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Finance Business Partner to join North West Leicestershire Council on an initial 3-month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

To deliver financial accounting and drive performance improvements through effective financial monitoring, advice and support by partnering with services

*

Champion excellent management of financial resources, promoting probity, efficiency, high performance and overall value for money with service areas.

*

Produce month end financial monitoring and lead services in undertaking regular and timely review and challenge.

*

Support and advise strategic and operational decision-making, driving commercial opportunities and better business performance.

• Undertake specific duties as part of the production of the annual statement of accounts.

Essential Requirements

AAT Qualified

*

Minimum of three years post qualification experience within a financial environment

*

Ability to interpret and advise on financial and performance data
