Financial Accountant

Role: Interim Financial Accountant 6 Month-FTC

A growing and fast-paced business is seeking an experienced Interim Finance Support professional to join its finance team on an initial six-month contract. Working closely with the Head of Finance, you'll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end reporting, reconciliations, and ensuring strong financial controls across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily bank reconciliations and cash allocation
• Balance sheet reconciliations and month-end journals
• Supporting management accounts preparation
• Analysis of high-volume transactional data
• Managing third-party recharge processes
• Assisting with sales and purchase ledger activities
• Supporting continuous improvement of finance processes and controls

About You:

• Previous experience using Sage 200 is essential
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Experienced in reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and month-end processes
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to work with large datasets
• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience
• Background in Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, or a similar finance role
