About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and capable Financial Accountant to join their reputable finance team in Norwich . This role is integral to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial records and reporting. You will be involved in a range of financial accounting activities, including ledger management, financial statement preparation, and supporting audits. Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP .
• Assist with the preparation of management accounts and financial analysis.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Manage fixed asset registers and perform reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

Requirements

• Part-qualified or qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) or equivalent experience.
• Experience in financial accounting, with a strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good organizational skills and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
