Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate monthly management accounts and financial statements.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely processing.
• Conduct regular bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting processes, analysing variances against actual performance.
• Assist with the preparation of VAT returns and other statutory filings.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.

Requirements

• Part-qualified or newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
• Demonstrable experience in a Financial Accountant or similar accounting role.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel is essential.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and UK tax legislation.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
