About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and analytical Financial Analyst to join their finance team in Reading . You will be involved in financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain complex financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis.
• Prepare detailed financial reports, highlighting key trends, variances, and performance metrics.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data to identify business opportunities and risks.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with various departments.
• Assist in the preparation of presentations for senior management, communicating financial insights.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Financial Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including complex formulas, pivot tables, and VBA).
• Experience with financial modelling and data visualization tools.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
