Our client is seeking a data-driven and insightful Financial Analyst to join their team in Nottingham . You will be involved in financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
• Analyze financial performance against budget and forecast, identifying key variances and drivers.
• Prepare regular financial reports and presentations for management.
• Develop financial models to support business cases, investment appraisals, and strategic initiatives.
• Monitor key financial metrics and provide insights to support operational and strategic decision-making.
• Support ad-hoc financial analysis requests from various departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Financial Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, advanced formulas) and financial modeling.
• Experience with financial planning and analysis (FP&A) software is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate financial information clearly.
