Financial Controller

About the Role

Our client is seeking a strategic and experienced Financial Controller to lead their finance function remotely. This senior role is responsible for overseeing all financial operations, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance, within a fully remote setting. You will play a key role in shaping the company's financial strategy and ensuring its financial health and stability. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and direct all accounting operations, including A/P, A/R, general ledger, and payroll.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS/GAAP.
• Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to support business growth.
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights and analysis to senior management.
• Oversee cash flow management, financial risk assessment, and internal controls.

Requirements

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with extensive experience in financial control and management.
• Proven experience in a similar senior finance role, preferably within a remote or dispersed organisation.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, corporate finance, and accounting principles.
• Expertise in financial modelling, ERP systems, and advanced data analysis tools.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
