About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Financial Controller to lead their finance function in Wolverhampton . This senior role offers a hybrid working model and is responsible for the overall financial management of the company, including financial planning, risk management, and ensuring robust internal controls. You will work closely with the executive team, providing critical financial insights to drive business growth and profitability. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of financial operations, including accounting, reporting, and compliance.
• Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's objectives.
• Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing variance analysis and recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Manage banking relationships and oversee cash flow.

Requirements

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with significant post-qualification experience.
• Proven experience as a Financial Controller or in a similar senior finance role.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Expertise in financial reporting, corporate finance, and risk management.
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced data analysis tools.
