Financial Controller

About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned Financial Controller to oversee their financial operations remotely. This senior role is responsible for managing all accounting functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls. You will play a key strategic role in financial planning and analysis, driving financial performance and ensuring compliance with all accounting standards and regulations. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.
• Develop and manage the annual budget process, financial forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
• Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
• Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to senior management to support business objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial management.
• Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations.
• Proven experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
