About the Role

Our client is looking for a diligent and experienced Financial Controller to oversee all financial operations for their growing enterprise based in Milton Keynes . This critical role involves managing accounting functions, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and driving financial planning and analysis. Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS/GAAP.
• Oversee the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic goals.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.
• Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of performance and development.

Requirements

• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or equivalent experience.
• Significant experience (7+ years) in a financial control or senior accounting role.
• Expert knowledge of accounting software, ERP systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong understanding of UK financial regulations and corporate governance.
• Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication abilities.
