About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, financial planning and analysis, and treasury.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards.
• Develop and implement robust internal controls to mitigate financial risks.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, management accounts, and board presentations.
• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, driving financial discipline across the organization.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and other financial stakeholders.
• Mentor and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) with a strong academic background.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles.
• In-depth knowledge of financial reporting standards (IFRS/UK GAAP) and corporate governance.
• Proven experience in financial strategy, risk management, and process optimization.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills for effective remote leadership.
• Proficiency in financial management software and advanced analytical tools.
