Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Financial Controller to lead their finance operations in Coventry . This senior position is responsible for the overall financial management of the company, including financial planning, risk management, and ensuring robust internal controls. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Develop and manage the annual budgeting and forecasting process, providing detailed financial analysis and insights.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal financial regulations and tax requirements.
- Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial data integrity.
- Prepare and present monthly financial statements and board reports to senior management.
- Lead and develop the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent qualification is mandatory.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles, with at least 3 years in a controller or similar leadership position.
- Extensive knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and financial reporting.
- Experience with financial software systems (e.g., QuickBooks Enterprise, NetSuite) and advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making capabilities.
