About the Role

Our client, a prominent retail group based in Leeds , seeks an experienced Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to lead its strategic financial operations. This key role will focus on driving business performance through robust financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic planning. You will work closely with senior management to provide insights that inform critical business decisions, improve profitability, and support long-term growth initiatives. This hybrid role combines collaborative office work in Leeds with the flexibility of remote work, ensuring a balanced and productive working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the company's annual budget and long-term financial plans.
• Prepare insightful financial analysis, including variance analysis, profitability analysis, and scenario modeling.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making and investment appraisal.
• Collaborate with department heads to understand business drivers and provide financial guidance.
• Present financial performance, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.

Requirements

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or MBA with a strong finance background.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or corporate finance.
• Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and data analysis.
• Strong understanding of business strategy and performance metrics.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills, with a strategic mindset.
