Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a strategic and experienced Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to lead their FP&A function in Bristol . This role is critical in driving financial strategy, performance management, and business insights across the organisation. You will be responsible for overseeing the budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes, as well as providing deep-dive financial analysis to support key business decisions. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
• Provide insightful financial analysis, variance explanations, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
• Develop and maintain robust financial models to support scenario planning and business case development.
• Collaborate with business unit leaders to understand financial performance drivers and identify areas for improvement.
• Enhance financial reporting capabilities and develop key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Mentor and develop the FP&A team, fostering a culture of analytical excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or corporate finance.
• Proven experience in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and business operations.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
