Fire Alarm Supervisor Motherwell & Edinburgh £38,000 - £50,000 + Bonus (Up to 50%) + Expenses Join a Growing Fire & Electrical Projects Team Our client is one of the UK's fastest-growing fire safety businesses, delivering consistent year-on-year growth and securing major contracts across the social housing sector. Due to continued expansion and a number of recent contract wins, they are looking to recruit a Fire Alarm Supervisor to oversee the delivery of fire alarm and emergency lighting projects across Motherwell and Edinburgh. This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced Fire Alarm Supervisor or a senior Fire Alarm Engineer looking to step into a leadership role with genuine long-term career prospects.

The Role

As Fire Alarm Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day delivery of fire alarm and emergency lighting projects across multiple social housing sites. You will oversee engineers and subcontractors, ensure projects are delivered safely and on programme, and act as the key point of contact between site teams and project management. The role will involve regular travel between Motherwell and Edinburgh, therefore applicants must be comfortable working across both locations. Projects range from smaller installation works through to large-scale contracts valued at up to £1 million.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise fire alarm and emergency lighting installation projects.
• Oversee engineers and specialist subcontractors.
• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
• Monitor project progress and maintain programme deadlines.
• Carry out quality inspections and compliance checks.
• Liaise with project managers, clients and site teams.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant industry standards and legislation.
• Maintain accurate site records and project documentation. What We're Looking For Essential
• Fire Alarm installation experience.
• Experience supervising site-based teams or ready to step up into a supervisory position.
• Knowledge of fire alarm systems and associated legislation.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Comfortable travelling between Motherwell and Edinburgh.

Desirable

• FIA qualifications.
• Emergency Lighting experience.
• Experience within social housing environments.
• ECS Card.
