Fire and Security Systems Engineer

About the Role

Our client is looking for a qualified Fire and Security Systems Engineer to join their dedicated team in Belfast . In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, and maintenance of advanced fire detection, alarm, and security systems. You will work on a variety of sites, ensuring systems are installed to the highest standards and function correctly to protect lives and property. This is a crucial role for ensuring safety compliance and providing peace of mind to our clients. The successful candidate will be integral to our service delivery across Northern Ireland .

Key Responsibilities

• Install, program, and commission fire alarm and security systems (CCTV, access control).
• Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and testing of existing systems.
• Diagnose faults and perform necessary repairs to ensure system integrity.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients regarding system operation.
• Maintain accurate records of all installation, maintenance, and repair activities.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant British Standards and industry regulations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in installing and maintaining fire and security systems.
• Good knowledge of various fire alarm panels and security equipment manufacturers.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical specifications.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills for engaging with clients in Belfast .
• A valid driving license and willingness to travel throughout Northern Ireland .
