The Opportunity

We are recruiting an experienced Fire Stopper to join a growing passive fire protection contractor working across the Midlands. The role will involve installing and maintaining fire stopping systems across a range of commercial and residential projects. We are looking for a reliable, skilled operative who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and is looking for long-term stability.

Key Responsibilities

Installing fire stopping systems, including sealants, batt and mastic systems.

Carrying out fire stopping remedial works and repairs.

*

Ensuring all installations comply with relevant fire safety standards and manufacturer specifications.

*

Completing accurate job reports and photographic evidence.

*

Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment.

Requirements

*

Proven experience in fire stopping installation and remedial works.

*

Longevity with current / recent employer.

*

Relevant fire stopping qualifications preferred.

*

Good understanding of fire stopping compliance and installation standards.

*

Strong attention to detail and quality of workmanship.

*

Full UK driving licence.

*

Reliable, professional and able to work independently or as part of a team.

£38,000 – £43,000 salary.
