Fitness Centre Manager

About the Role

Our client is looking for a motivated and experienced Fitness Centre Manager to lead their facility in Bradford . You will be responsible for the overall management and success of the fitness centre, including membership sales, staff management, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This role requires a hands-on leader with a passion for fitness and a strong business acumen. You will drive initiatives to increase membership, enhance program offerings, and ensure a welcoming and safe environment for all members. The ideal candidate is energetic, organized, and possesses excellent customer service and leadership skills to foster a thriving fitness community.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the fitness centre, ensuring a high standard of service and cleanliness.
• Lead and motivate the fitness and reception staff, overseeing recruitment, training, and performance management.
• Drive membership sales and retention strategies to achieve centre targets.
• Develop and implement engaging fitness programs, classes, and events for members.
• Manage centre budgets, including revenue forecasting and cost control.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and operational regulations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in managing a fitness centre or leisure facility, ideally with a focus on sales and operations.
• Strong understanding of fitness industry trends, programming, and equipment.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated success in membership sales and customer relationship management.
• Ability to manage budgets effectively and drive revenue growth.
• Relevant fitness qualifications (e.g., Level 3 Personal Training) are advantageous.
