Floor Layer

GVR Building Services are currently recruiting for an experienced Floor Layer to join an upcoming project at Heathrow Airport.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Floor Layer with strong commercial flooring experience to work within a busy aviation environment.

Duties

• Carrying out commercial floor laying works

• Preparing floors and subfloors prior to installation

• Measuring, cutting and fitting flooring accurately

• Installing flooring to drawings and project specifications

• Completing finishing works to a high standard

• Working alongside other trades and site teams

• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

• Following all site and airport Health & Safety procedures

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Floor Layer

• Previous commercial flooring experience

• Valid CSCS card

• Own tools and PPE

• High standard of workmanship

• Reliable and professional approach

• Able to work effectively within a busy site environment

Heathrow Requirements

• DBS check will be required

• Candidates must be able to provide a 5-year employment history

• Previous aviation or airport experience is advantageous, but not essential

• Additional airport security and vetting requirements may apply
