FLT Reach Truck Driver - Northampton, West Midlands
People Solutions are currently recruiting for an FLT Reach Truck Driver to join our well-established client based in Northampton, Northamptonshire.

This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as an FLT Operator, FLT Driver or Forklift Truck Operative.
Shift Pattern
- Monday to Friday
- Mandatory rotating shifts:
- 2 weeks AM: 06:00 - 14:00
- 2 weeks PM: 14:00 - 22:00
Applicants must be available to work both AM and PM shifts as part of the rotation.
Rates of Pay
- Basic rate: £15.12 per hour
- Overtime rate: £22.26 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties
As an FLT Reach Truck Driver, your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Operating an FLT Reach Truck safely and efficiently
- Carrying out pre-use inspections and reporting any faults
- Receiving goods into the warehouse and stowing pallets
- Checking the quantity and visual quality of incoming and outgoing goods
- Unpacking and storing incoming deliveries
- Organising stock ready for dispatch
- Moving pallets and goods around the warehouse as required
- Supporting general warehouse operations when required
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Following all site health and safety procedures
Essential Skills
To be successful as an FLT Reach Truck Driver, you will need:
- Proven experience operating an FLT Reach Truck
- Confidence working within a busy warehouse environment
- Good spatial awareness
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- Good communication and organisational skills
- A reliable and self-motivated attitude
- Flexibility and willingness to undertake a variety of warehouse tasks
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Availability to work the full AM and PM rotating shift pattern
Desirable Experience
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience

- Industry-related training and ongoing support and development
