About the Role

Our client is seeking a visionary Food and Beverage Director to lead and innovate within their upscale hotel operations in vibrant Manchester . You will be responsible for the strategic direction, management, and profitability of all food and beverage outlets, including restaurants, bars, room service, and banqueting. This executive position requires a leader with exceptional culinary acumen, strong financial management skills, and a passion for creating outstanding dining experiences that captivate guests and drive revenue growth, ensuring the F&B department is a cornerstone of the hotel's success.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the strategic planning and operational management of all F&B departments to maximize profitability and guest satisfaction.
• Develop and implement innovative menus, promotions, and service standards in line with market trends and brand identity.
• Manage F&B budgets, including forecasting, P&L responsibility, cost control, and inventory management.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the F&B team, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and professional growth.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations across all F&B operations.
• Source and manage relationships with suppliers, negotiating favourable terms and ensuring quality standards.

Requirements

• Extensive experience (8+ years) in senior Food and Beverage management roles, preferably within luxury hotels or high-volume restaurant groups.
• Demonstrated success in driving revenue, controlling costs, and improving profitability in F&B operations.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills, with a proven ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.
• In-depth knowledge of culinary trends, wine, and spirits, as well as modern F&B service techniques.
• Excellent financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L analysis.
