About the Role

Our client is looking for a visionary Food and Beverage Director to lead and elevate the culinary and beverage offerings at a prominent hotel in Birmingham . This role is crucial for enhancing the guest dining experience, managing restaurant and bar operations, and driving profitability through innovative menu development and exceptional service. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of quality, creativity, and operational excellence, working closely with the executive chef and management team to establish the hotel as a premier dining destination.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the hotel's food and beverage operations, including restaurants, bars, banqueting, and room service.
• Develop and execute innovative menus and beverage programs that align with market trends and guest preferences.
• Manage departmental budgets, control costs, and optimize revenue streams for the F&B department.
• Lead, train, and motivate a diverse team of culinary and service professionals to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
• Ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and quality control standards.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote F&B outlets and special events.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in food and beverage management, preferably within a luxury hotel setting.
• Proven track record of successful menu engineering, cost control, and revenue generation.
• Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of culinary trends, wine, and spirits.
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is highly desirable.
