About the Role

Our client is seeking a passionate and experienced Food & Beverage Manager to lead the culinary and beverage operations of their boutique hotel in Edinburgh . This key role involves overseeing all aspects of the hotel's restaurants, bars, and in-room dining, ensuring the highest standards of quality, service, and guest satisfaction. You will be responsible for menu development, staff management, inventory control, and financial performance of the F&B department. The ideal candidate is a culinary innovator with strong leadership skills and a commitment to creating memorable dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, including restaurants, bars, and room service.
• Develop innovative and appealing menus, working with chefs to ensure quality and consistency.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and develop the F&B team to deliver exceptional service.
• Control costs, manage inventory, and optimize profitability of the department.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Enhance the guest dining experience through excellent service and ambiance.
• Collaborate with marketing on promotions and events to drive F&B revenue.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Food & Beverage Manager or Assistant Manager in a high-quality hotel or restaurant setting.
• Strong knowledge of culinary trends, beverage programs, and wine service.
• Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in F&B cost control, inventory management, and budgeting.
• A passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
• Relevant qualifications in Food & Beverage management or Culinary Arts are preferred.
