Food & Beverage Manager

About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled and experienced Food & Beverage Manager to oversee all aspects of the dining and beverage operations in Newcastle upon Tyne . This hybrid role requires a strategic leader who can balance on-site presence with remote administrative tasks, ensuring exceptional service standards and profitability. You will be responsible for menu development, staff management, inventory control, and creating memorable dining experiences for guests. The successful candidate will bring creativity, strong leadership, and a passion for delivering outstanding hospitality services, working closely with the culinary and front-of-house teams to elevate the venue's reputation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all food and beverage outlets, including restaurants, bars, and room service, ensuring consistent quality and service.
• Develop innovative menus and beverage lists in collaboration with the culinary team, considering seasonal availability and guest preferences.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and manage all food and beverage staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Oversee inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and cost control, to maximize profitability.
• Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Develop and implement promotional strategies and special events to drive business and enhance guest satisfaction.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Food & Beverage Manager or in a similar senior hospitality management role.
• Demonstrated success in managing multiple F&B outlets and driving profitability.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage trends, wine, and spirits.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid remote and on-site capacity.
