About the Role

Our client seeks a proactive and experienced Food & Beverage Manager to lead their dining operations in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear . This role is crucial for ensuring the highest standards of quality, service, and profitability across all food and beverage outlets within the establishment. You will be responsible for managing staff, controlling inventory, developing menus, and enhancing the overall dining experience for guests. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of all hotel food and beverage outlets, including restaurants, bars, and room service.
• Manage and develop the F&B team, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Control inventory, manage supplier relationships, and ensure cost-effective purchasing of food and beverages.
• Develop and implement menus, promotions, and service standards to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations within the F&B department.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Food & Beverage Management role, preferably within a hotel or similar establishment.
• Strong understanding of F&B operations, menu engineering, and cost control principles.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and achieve financial targets.
