About the Role

Our client seeks a strategic and creative Food and Beverage Manager to lead their diverse culinary and beverage operations within a busy hotel in Birmingham . This role is crucial for enhancing guest dining experiences, driving revenue through innovative menus and exceptional service, and managing a dynamic team across multiple outlets, including a signature restaurant, bar, and banqueting facilities. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of quality, consistency, and profitability, whilst fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for gastronomy and a keen eye for operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement innovative menus and beverage programs that align with market trends and guest preferences.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of all F&B outlets, ensuring high standards of service and presentation.
• Control food and beverage costs through effective inventory management, purchasing, and waste reduction strategies.
• Lead, train, and motivate the F&B team to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
• Develop and execute marketing and promotional strategies to drive F&B revenue.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations within the department.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Food and Beverage Manager or in a senior F&B supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of culinary trends, wine, and spirits.
• Excellent financial acumen, including P&L management and budget control.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
• Experience with event planning and managing large-scale banqueting operations.
