Food and Beverage Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and skilled Food and Beverage Manager to manage their diverse catering operations in Milton Keynes . This role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences across various settings, including fine dining, banquets, and casual events. You will be responsible for the entire food and beverage department, from menu development and supplier management to staff training and financial oversight, ensuring profitability and outstanding service quality. This is a key position for a leader looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, execution, and success of all food and beverage services, including restaurants, bars, room service, and events.
• Develop and introduce innovative menus, working with chefs to ensure quality, consistency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Manage beverage programs, including procurement, inventory control, and responsible service of alcohol.
• Lead, train, and motivate the food and beverage team, fostering a culture of excellence and professional development.
• Monitor financial performance, develop budgets, and implement strategies to maximize revenue and control costs across all F&B outlets.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Food and Beverage Manager or in a similar senior role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of culinary trends, beverage management, and event planning.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with financial management, including P&L analysis and budgeting.
