About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and discreet Forensic Accountant to join their team on a fully remote basis. This specialized role involves investigating financial irregularities, fraud, and other financial crimes, providing expert analysis and reporting. You will play a critical role in uncovering financial misconduct, supporting legal proceedings, and protecting the organisation's assets. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough investigations into financial fraud, asset misappropriation, and other financial crimes.
• Analyse complex financial data to identify patterns, anomalies, and evidence of misconduct.
• Prepare detailed and objective forensic accounting reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist legal counsel in litigation support, providing expert witness testimony when required.
• Develop and recommend internal control improvements to prevent future financial irregularities.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and regulatory bodies as necessary.

Requirements

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with specialised experience in forensic accounting.
• Demonstrated experience in fraud investigation, litigation support, and dispute resolution.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques relevant to forensic accounting.
• Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent report writing and verbal communication skills, suitable for remote presentations and legal testimony.
