Carry out appropriate inspections and tests using calibrated equipment, recording results accurately.

Check coating thickness, surface cleanliness, environmental conditions and other parameters relevant to the specified coating system.

Review technical documentation, product data sheets, method statements and coating inspection requirements.

Identify defects, deviations and non-conformances, ensuring that corrective actions are recorded and followed through.

Produce clear inspection reports, daily records, photographic evidence and quality documentation.

Liaise with site management, coating applicators, subcontractors and quality personnel to resolve technical issues.

Ensure that inspection activities comply with project requirements and applicable standards.

Strong understanding of surface preparation, coating application, inspection methods and acceptance criteria.

Ability to interpret technical specifications, coating procedures and inspection documentation.

Experience using relevant inspection equipment and maintaining accurate test records.

A methodical approach to quality control, defect identification and non-conformance reporting.
